©満井春香・講談社／アニメ「どうせ、恋してしまうんだ。」製作委員会Season 2 of the Anyway, I’m Falling in Love with You anime is scheduled to launch in 2026. The release timeframe was announced with a visual portraying Kizuki, Shin, Airu, and Shugo beside the pool in formal attire.
The inaugural season debuted in January 2025 and consisted of 12 episodes. The anime is adapted from a manga by Haruka Mitsui, which Kodansha USA summarizes as:
Love in the time of COVID-19? This new series explores the intersections of crushes, nostalgia, and friendships found in shojo manga amidst a formidable pandemic. Could it be that a determined high school girl possesses more resilience than anyone anticipated? Sure to satisfy fans of well-liked romance comics such as Komi Can’t Communicate and Skip and Loafer.
