Bâan: The Boundary of Adulthood, the anime short film made by anime YouTuber Garnt “Gigguk” Maneetapho, will debut globally on Gigguk’s YouTube channel on September 20.

Gigguk also shared that there will be a launch event on his Twitch channel.

The anime tells the story of two main characters who “leave their hometowns in search of a place where they truly belong.” It is set in Euthania, “a land abundant in nature with various magical creatures inspired by South East Asian Mythology, connected to Japan through a warp gate.” Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture‘s Yoshimitsu Ohashi directed the animation at Studio Daisy.

Previously, it was announced that the anime would have an early screening in Japan on August 24, and that the release on Gigguk’s YouTube would come with a behind-the-scenes documentary.
