Chibi Godzilla Raids Again Receives New Season in July 2025

A new season of the short anime series Chibi Godzilla Raids Again is set to air in Japan starting on July 2, 2025. Alongside this announcement, a new poster visual and trailer for the season have been revealed.

The new season was announced during a fan event for the series, where it was disclosed that voice actor Katsuyuki Konishi will be joining the cast as Chibi JJ. Additionally, it was revealed that the group Wednesday Campanella will be performing the new main theme song “Kaiju-To,” which is featured in the trailer.

Taketo Shinkai (Anime Kaisha de Hanasu Koto ka yo) will once again be directing the series, with illustrator Chiharu Sakazaki (Chibi Godzilla designer) returning as character designer and Pie in the sky set to handle the animation production.
The anime’s primary voice cast includes:

• Takuya Eguchi as Chibi Ghidorah
• Rie Takahashi as Chibi Mothra

• Miyuki Sawashiro as Chibi Biollante
• Reina Ueda and Akari Kito as Shobijin Sisters
• Maaya Uchida as Chibi Minilla
• Subaru Kimura as Chibi Titano
• Ryohei Kimura as Chibi Gabara
• Mamoru Miyano as Chibi Gigan

Season two of Chibi Godzilla Raids Again premiered on YouTube on April 3, 2025, with the English-subtitled version debuting on April 10, 2025. This season consists of 52 episodes. The first season aired in April 2023 and included 13 episodes. Each episode has a runtime of approximately two minutes and forty seconds.
The Chibi Godzilla design created by Sakazaki first appeared in the children’s book Do Your Best, Chibi Godzilla! The chibi kaijus have also been featured in other picture books, a music video, the short-form 3D-animated web series I’m Home! Chibi Godzilla (2020-2021), and various merchandise.
