Cygames Inc., known for the acclaimed Umamusume: Pretty Derby horse girl raising simulator, is joining forces with the Breeders’ Cup World Championships once again for its 2025 edition.
Similar to last year, Cygames will serve as the title sponsor for the Cygames Breeders’ Cup Sprint, with its branding displayed on the race’s starting gate and on the saddle towels of the competing horses. This prestigious US$2 million dirt track race, covering a distance of 1,200 meters for male and female horses aged three years and older, is set to occur on November 1, the final day of the 2025 Breeders’ Cup World Championships.
In a recent press release, the Breeders’ Cup expressed that the ongoing partnership “demonstrates Cygames’ ongoing commitment to the Breeders’ Cup, which encompasses enhanced media coverage and new cooperative marketing strategies aimed at reaching global audiences.”

Earlier this year, Cygames revealed a collaboration with the 151st Kentucky Derby.
The 2025 Breeders’ Cup World Championships will kick off on October 31 at California’s Del Mar Thoroughbred Club. This event, dedicated to Thoroughbred horse racing, was first inaugurated in 1984.
