A fresh cast member has been revealed for the ongoing Dealing with Mikadono Sisters Is a Breeze TV anime series. The anime originally debuted in Japan on July 9, 2025, and is scheduled to run for 12 episodes.
Voice actress Fuka Izumi joins the voice lineup as Sakura Yaotome, a high school shogi player and self-proclaimed rival of Miwa.

Tadahito Matsubayashi (Magical Girl Site) is overseeing the anime, with Yusuke Inoue (animation director on Mayonaka Punch, Skip and Loafer, among others) serving as character designer, Takayo Ikami (The Most Notorious “Talker” Runs the World’s Greatest Clan) as series screenwriter, Yuito Kiyosawa (Alice Gear Aegis Expansion co-main animator) as sub-character designer, and Tsukasa Miyazaki as main animator. P.A.WORKS is responsible for the animation production.
The anime is adapted from the romantic comedy manga series by Aya Hirakawa, serialized in Shogakukan’s Shonen Sunday since December 22, 2021, and has released 15 volumes as of July 2025. A 16th volume is set for release in Japan on September 18, 2025. The manga is available digitally in English through Orange Inc.’s emaqi e-bookstore and VIZ Media.
