According to the official Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba X (formerly Twitter) account, the film has earned 28,087,694,600 yen (~US$190.64 million) in 38 days. It attracted 19,825,555 viewers during this timeframe.
Infinity Castle (Gekijoban “Kimetsu no Yaiba” Mugenjou-hen Daiisshou Akaza Sairai in Japanese) premiered in Japan on July 18 JST, debuting in 452 locations (including 59 IMAX locations). The film started its international release this month and is set to launch in North America on September 12.

This marks the beginning of a decisive trilogy that will showcase the ultimate confrontation between the Demon Slayer Corps and Muzan’s demons. The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime debuted in 2019 with its inaugural season, followed by the successful film Demon Slayer – Kimetsu No Yaiba – the Movie: Mugen Train, a TV adaptation of Mugen Train, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc.

The original Koyoharu Gotouge manga that served as the foundation for the anime was serialized from 2016 to 2020 in Weekly Shonen Jump. Viz Media summarizes the manga as:
Learning to destroy demons won’t be easy, and Tanjiro barely knows where to start. The surprise appearance of another boy named Giyu, who seems to know what’s going on, might provide some answers—but only if Tanjiro can stop Giyu from killing his sister first!
