Detectives These Days Are Crazy! is a comedic mystery manga created by Masakuni Igarashi. The series first appeared in ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Maoh Magazine in April 2016. As of May 2025, there are 15 manga volumes available. One Peace Books has obtained the license and is releasing the manga in English. One Peace Book’s synopsis for the initial volume is as follows:
Behold, a remarkable detective who captivates the world by solving impossible cases in an instant! His name? Keiichiro Nagumo.
…However, that was over a decade ago. Now, he’s merely an ordinary middle-aged man. Nagumo is so out of touch that he isn’t even aware of what a smartphone is. Suddenly, a high school girl named Mashiro appears, expressing her desire to be his assistant. Witness the incredible feats a gender-diverse detective duo can achieve!
