HIDIVE has launched the English dub version of The World Is Dancing, a historical anime inspired by the origins of Noh dance-theater in Japan over 600 years ago. The complete voice cast list has been revealed.
The series is created by Shochiku and CyberAgent, based on the original manga by Kazuto Mihara; the Japanese language version with subtitles debuted on the platform in June as part of its summer simulcast lineup.
According to the streamer, this indicates the full availability of dubs for all of HIDIVE’s simulcast titles of the season.
Synopsis: People need food. People need shelter. However, people don’t need dance to survive. So why does it hold significance? It’s a question Oniyasha continuously asks, unaware that the answer will lead him to become the father of a performance art inseparable from Japan’s cultural heritage.

The English dub is directed by Kyle Colby Jones, with ADR script by Kalin Black, mixing by Brent Marshall and audio engineering by Keegan Daleo, David Lascoe and Krizi Jackson.
