A demo area for the forthcoming Kaiju No. 8 The Game will be featured at Anime Expo 2025, as part of an extensive “immersive booth” that includes several other activities connected to the action RPG.
The demo section will feature “playable units showcasing the latest Demo version of the game, providing attendees with a direct experience of its user-friendly controls, dynamic Ultimate Moves, and intricate kaiju battle scenes.” It remains unclear if participants will have the opportunity to engage with Akari Kito‘s original character Sagan Shinomiya in the demo portion.

Regarding additional attractions, there’s an opportunity to take a photo that can be transformed into a “custom Japan Defense Force–style” ID card, along with exclusive merchandise featuring the game’s original artwork. An LED Video Wall will showcase the “cinematic official trailer and thrilling gameplay highlights.”
Kaiju No. 8 The Game will be accessible on App Store, Google Play, and Steam, supporting languages that encompass Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Korean, and French. Pre-registration for the free-to-play title developed by Akatsuki Games commenced on April 26 JST, with the global pre-registration numbers surpassing 300,000 at the time of this writing.
