Futsuu no Keionbu Houkago Saiko! Pop Up will take place from May 30 JST to June 16 JST. Its theme revolves around the concept that visitors can join the manga’s light music club as a trial. Experiences offered at the event include the Doshitan? Hanashi Kikoka? Seishun Shindan Gacha (fortune slip random draw for 500 yen featuring an acrylic Chihiro Hatono charm) and the Band Member Boshuuban, with additional information to be shared later.

Band Member Boshuuban is a recruiting-themed activity where participants write the name of an artist they aspire to emulate, which will be showcased on a recruitment board. If a match occurs with another participant, a “I want to form a band!” sticker will be placed, and they will receive a successful formation coaster. If there is no match, an unsuccessful formation coaster will be given.

Additionally, there will be a sticker set gift for attendees, along with items for purchase such as picks and can badges. One of the available merchandise items includes a music CD-themed set containing four postcards (from a selection of 12 designs) and one “CD-shaped mirror” (from three designs), which will be packaged in a CD case. Visitors will have the option to choose their desired postcard and mirror designs.

Girl meets Rock! began its serialization on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ in January 2024. Manga Plus describes the manga as:

With a passion for richly textured Japanese rock, first-year high school student Chihiro Hatono steps into the world of the light music club, new guitar in tow. But what awaits her behind those doors…? A drama of unfiltered youth and musical ambition takes the stage!
