L.A. Comic Con 2025 is set to feature renowned Japanese anime voice actors Yuriko Yamaguchi (Evangelion‘s Ritsuko Akagi, One Piece‘s Nico Robin) and Takeshi Kusao (Slam Dunk‘s Hanamichi Kusaragi).

Other notable Japanese guests will include Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger‘s Ryota Ozawa, Yui Koike, and Kazuki Shimizu.

L.A. Comic Con is marking this as the “first-ever appearance of Japanese voice actors,” with Chris DeMoulin, the CEO and General Manager of Los Angeles Comic Con owner Comikaze Entertainment, announcing it as “a milestone for the entire anime community of Los Angeles” in a prepared statement.
