The ongoing second season of DAN DA DAN has reached its midpoint with the release of its sixth episode this week, featuring an intense heavy metal performance by Dragon Force frontman Marc Hudson. The newly launched music video comes from the sixth episode of the second season (the 18th overall) and showcases the character Toshiro alongside his visual kei rock band HAYASii conducting an exorcism on the possessed Jiji, utilizing the vigor of a heavy metal performance.

The track performed by HAYASii is “Hunting Soul,” written, composed, and arranged by Seiichi Nagai, with production by series music composer Kensuke Ushio. Voice actor Kisho Taniyama provides the Japanese vocals for Toshiro, while Hudson lends his voice for the English version of the song. Additional musicians contributing to the song include Marty Friedman on guitar, CHARGEEEEEE… on drums, and Wakazaemon on bass. The second season of DAN DA DAN debuted on Japanese television and Netflix on July 3, 2025, and is set to consist of 12 episodes. The first season ran for 12 episodes in Fall 2024. Crunchyroll and Netflix are streaming the anime globally, outside of Japan.
