©「パリに咲くエトワール」製作委員会A teaser trailer has been unveiled for L’etoile de Paris en Fleur (Paris ni Saku L’etoile), the forthcoming original anime film directed by Goro Taniguchi (ONE PIECE FILM RED, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;Surrection) and showcasing character design concepts from Katsuya Kondo (Kiki’s Delivery Service, Ocean Waves).
The preview presents the main characters Fujiko and Chizuru; the former is an aspiring artist, while the latter has a passion for ballet, alongside Fujiko’s part-time colleague Ruslan. Additionally, the setting features early 20th century Paris, which serves as the main backdrop of the story, brought to life in the film under the art direction of Yuji Kaneko (Tengoku Daimakyo).
Moreover, it was revealed that Rina Arashi will voice Chizuru, while Taichi Saotome will portray Ruslan.
L’etoile de Paris en Fleur follows Fujiko and Chizuru’s first encounter in Yokohama, and their fateful reunion in Paris five years later. Aware of Chizuru’s ambition, Fujiko seeks lessons from Ruslan’s mother, who is a former ballerina from Russia. Meanwhile, Fujiko’s guardian and uncle mysteriously vanishes one day.
