© 明鏡シスイ･ホビージャパン／無限ガチャ製作委員会The latest character trailer has been unveiled for the forthcoming My Gift Lvl 9999 Unlimited Gacha: Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon, I’m Out for Revenge! TV anime series, featuring the magically talented Ellie. The show is set to debut in Japan on October 3, 2025.
Katsushi Sakurabi (Flying Witch, Lostorage incited WIXOSS, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Arrow of the Orion) is at the helm of the anime, with Hiroshi Onogi (Blue Archive: The Animation [co-credits], Idol Memories) serving as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, while Yukie Suzuki (Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy) takes on character design. The animation production is being managed by J.C.STAFF.
Meanwhile, the voice cast for the anime includes:

The original fantasy light novel series is authored by Meikyou Shisui and illustrated by tef. It first appeared under Hobby Japan’s HJ Novels imprint on May 19, 2021, and has published 12 volumes as of April 2025. The series originally started as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel in April 2020.
J-Novel Club has acquired the rights to the light novels for digital publication in English under the title Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon (with the full English title being Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon: My Trusted Companions Tried to Kill Me, But Thanks to the Gift of an Unlimited Gacha I Got LVL 9999 Friends and Am Out For Revenge on My Former Party Members and the World).
A manga adaptation by Takafumi Oomae was released in May 2021. Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed the manga for English release.
