©志瑞祐・青桐良・講談社/異世界マンチキン製作委員会The Otherworldly Munchkin: Let’s Speedrun the Dungeon with Only 1 HP! TV anime will no longer premiere in October 2025, with the official reason being related to quality improvements.
Its new release date is currently unknown.
Otherworldly Munchkin is based on the manga written by Yu Shimizu and illustrated by Makoto Aogiri, which is serialized on Kodansha’s Suiyobi no Sirius. Kodansha USA describes the premise as follows:
16-year-old Yukito Kirihara lives with his 14-year-old sister Sana, who he treasures above anyone else. But when an ogre appears outside his window looking for Sana (a shocking event in itself), Yukito jumps to rescue her—and is killed. He’s presented with the promise of reincarnation by a mysterious woman, who provides him with a character sheet in a strange book. When Yukito discovers Sana is in there as well, he embarks on a quest to find her and save them both—even though he only has 1 hp to accomplish it!
