©岩船晶・戸部淑・イマジカインフォス／「ポーション、わが身を助ける」製作委員会 A fresh trailer has been unveiled for the forthcoming Potion, Waga Mi o Tasukeru “light anime” series, showcasing the main opening theme song of the show. It is set to commence broadcasting in Japan on October 2, 2025.
The new trailer emphasizes that the light anime’s leading opening theme is “Koi no Magic Potion” performed by the Japanese female rock band TRIDENT, a reimagining of Scanch’s original single from 1991. TRiDENT will also perform the show’s ending theme “MIRACRAID.”
Mikiko Furukawa (Moriarty’s Perfect Crime) is at the helm of the light anime, with bermei.inazawa handling the music composition and Yuichi Imaizumi (Medalist) serving as sound director. Studio KAIBA is acknowledged for the animation support, while Kazuya Takahashi is overseeing production supervision. Animation production is being managed by IMAGICA Infos and Imageworks Studio.
On the other hand, the main voice cast of the anime includes:

The original isekai fantasy light novel series is penned by Akira Iwafune and illustrated by Sunaho Tobe. It first appeared under Shufunotomo’s Hero Bunko imprint on April 27, 2015, and by September 2024, 10 volumes have been released. It originated as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro, published from April 10, 2014, to September 21, 2024.
A manga adaptation created by the same authors was released in September 2023.
