The forthcoming RPG has also unveiled two trailers, one focusing on action for Tokyo Game Show 2025 and another for Sony’s State of Play 2025. Some features showcased in the latter consist of fishing, cooking, and crafting.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin will be available on PlayStation 5, Steam, App Store, and Google Play. Closed Beta Test registrations and mobile pre-registrations have commenced, offering pre-registration rewards that include the fairy/giant hybrid character Tioreh.
The game, initially announced in 2022 and developed using Unreal Engine 5, will revolve around a “multiversal crisis” that Tristan, son of The Seven Deadly Sins‘ Meliodas and Diana and one of the titular knights in the sequel The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights Of The Apocalypse, must resolve. In addition to real-time combat and various biomes, the game promises co-op dungeons for up to five players, puzzles and “environmental riddles,” creature catching, “shifting weather,” and world bosses.
