The second season of the Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill anime has unveiled a teaser trailer and visual. Additionally, it was revealed that Ayumu Murase will be voicing the pixie dragon Dora-chan, and the new season is set to premiere in October.

Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill is adapted from the OVERLAP Novels light novel series authored by Ren Eguchi and illustrated by Masa, which started in 2016 and has released 16 volumes as of December 2024. J-Novel Club describes the novels as:
Mukouda Tsuyoshi was quite ordinary in modern Japan, so when he was brought to a realm filled with swords and magic, he imagined he was prepared for the quest of a lifetime. Unfortunately, the kingdom that summoned him did so by mistake! Not only was he not among the three chosen heroes, but his stats were comically inferior compared to theirs. Moreover, there’s something quite suspicious about this kingdom… “Ah, these people are looking to exploit the Hero,” he realized, and immediately set off to forge his own path in this new world. The sole thing Mukouda can depend on is his extraordinary skill: the “Online Supermarket,” a unique ability that enables him to purchase modern goods in a fantasy setting. Although it’s ineffective for battles, if he plays his cards right, he could live comfortably, perhaps? At least, that’s what Mukouda believes, but it turns out that contemporary food procured through this skill has some absurd effects! What unfolds when Mukouda introduces mind-blowingly delicious modern cuisine to such a fantastical world? He finds himself with a plethora of absurdly eager customers asking for more…!
Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill first appeared as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2016. A manga adaptation of the light novels by Akagishi K was launched in 2017.
The anime’s inaugural season was broadcast in 2023.
