© bilibili/BeDream, Aniplex A fourth new main trailer has been unveiled for the ongoing To Be Hero X donghua animated series, shortly following the airing of episode 19 on August 10, 2025. The series initially premiered in Japan on April 6, 2025, and is set to comprise 24 episodes.
The latest trailer showcases the show’s primary theme song “Jeopardy” composed by series co-music composer Hiroyuki Sawano.
Li Haolin (LINK CLICK; To Be Hero; To Be Heroine) is credited as the original creator and is directing the animated series, in partnership with bilibili and Aniplex. Alongside Sawano, other music composers associated with the series include Kohta Yamamoto, Hidefumi Kenmochi, DAIKI (AWSM.), Shuhei Mutsuki, Hideyuki Fukasawa, Misaki Umase, and Ryuichi Takada. BeDream is responsible for the animation production.
Sawano also contributed to the opening theme “INERTIA”, while SennaRin performs the ending theme “KONTINUUM.”

To Be Hero X serves as a sequel to To Be Hero and To Be Heroine. The first To Be Hero series aired in Japan for 12 episodes from October to December 2016, produced by Studio LAN. Crunchyroll also streamed the series during its airing in Japan, with each episode lasting 11 minutes.
The follow-up series, To Be Heroine, was broadcast in May 2018, with Studio LAN and Haoliners Animation League managing the animation production. Haolin previously directed both preceding series. Crunchyroll also streamed both series on its platform.
