Image source: Google Play Japan YouTube channelGoogle Play Japan has begun rolling out a series of short anime commercials created by WIT STUDIO, titled Google Play de Chou Musou!? Tenseishitara Android User datta.. As of now, two episodes have been released, with the first debuting on June 14 JST.
The storyline of the commercials centers around the main character being reincarnated into the Google Play World, where he possesses an Android smartphone and embarks on adventures that are likely to spark envy among gamers.
Yasuhiro Akamatsu (Seraph of the End co-compositing director, Moonrise Episode 12 director) is at the helm of this commercial series, featuring character designs by KURO. Masaaki Yuasa (director of Inu-Oh, Devilman Crybaby, Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!, Ping-Pong the Animation) has contributed as a visual concept collaborator.
The two available episodes showcase Yuasa’s storyboards and Akamatsu’s unit direction.
