VIZ Media has shared that they have acquired the license for One-Punch Man Season 3, which encompasses various rights across numerous countries and regions. The launch of the third season is anticipated in Japan for October 2025.
The company’s license covers theatrical, television, digital, home entertainment, ancillary, and merchandise rights in North America, Latin America, and Oceania. Additional information about streaming options in VIZ Media territories will be forthcoming in the upcoming weeks.

The inaugural season was helmed by Shingo Natsume and produced by Madhouse, airing in 2015. A subsequent season launched in 2019 and was directed by Chikara Sakurai at J.C.STAFF. Crunchyroll streamed both series globally, excluding Japan.
The anime originates from the superhero action manga series authored by ONE and illustrated by Yusuke Murata. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Tonari no Young Jump since June 14, 2012, and has released 33 tankobon volumes as of April 2025. The manga was initially a self-published creation found on the Japanese manga website Nitosha in 2009.
