Wind Breaker will be making its way to Japanese theaters as a live-action film in November 2025.

The adaptation of the Satoru Nii manga was announced with a teaser video and a preview image, giving fans a glimpse of what to expect from the movie.

According to Comic Natalie, the film is directed by Kentaro Hagiwara, known for his work on the live-action Tokyo Ghoul and Blue Period. The script is written by Yosuke Masaike (known for the live-action A Girl & Her Guard Dog).

The announcement of the live-action film aligns with the conclusion of the Wind Breaker anime’s second season, which aired 12 episodes during the Spring 2025 anime season. The first season premiered on April 4, 2024.
