Kenji Iwaisawa (On–Gaku: Our Sound) is at the helm of the anime film, with Keisuke Kojima (My Isekai Life: I Gained a Second Character Class and Became the Strongest Sage in the World! character designer et al.) serving as character designer and animation director, Keikankun Yamaguchi as art director, and Hiroaki Tsutsumi (Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian) as music composer. ROCK’N ROLL MOUNTAIN is responsible for the animation production.
Yusuke Terada, Yuki Katayama, and Akane Taketsugu are credited as the film’s producers. The film is a co-production by Pony Canyon, TBS, and Asmik Ace.
The original track and field manga series by Uoto (Orb: On the Movements of the Earth creator) was serialized in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website and app from November 6, 2018 to August 6, 2019. A total of five tankobon volumes were published in Japan. The manga holds the Japanese title Hyakuemu or 100M.
