Additionally, it was revealed that Marina Inoue will be joining the cast as Merlin.
Yuusha Party o Tsuiho Sareta Shiro Madoshi is inspired by the manga illustrated by Wasabi Mukuno, which is an adaptation of the light novel series authored by Sora Suigetsu. The storyline revolves around the White Mage Lloyd, who is abandoned by the Hero’s Party due to a perceived deficiency in his abilities. Unbeknownst to the Hero’s Party, Lloyd is actually the pupil of a revered sage who has gone missing, and he wields support magic that exceeds the typical standards. After being ejected from the Hero’s Party, Lloyd embarks on an adventure under the belief that he is rather ordinary.
Yuusha Party o Tsuiho Sareta Shiro Madoshi originated as a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel in March 2020. Futabasha publishes both the light novels and the manga, with the manga being serialized in Gaugau Monster+. The light novels feature illustrations by DeeCHA.
