I’m a Curse Crafter, and I Don’t Need an S-Rank Party! began as a web novel written by LAgun. It was initially published on Shosetsuka ni Naro before later being issued as a light novel series by Hobby Japan. The manga adaptation by Ogawa commenced serialization in Kodansha’s Young Magazine MC in September 2021. K Manga has acquired the rights and is providing the manga digitally in English. They outline the story as follows:
Gail Hamilton is a “curse crafter“ who was expelled from his party for supposedly not contributing enough…just after they ascended to the Guild’s “S“ rank. Unfortunately, the party was unaware that Gail’s cursed items hold the might of holy relics and legendary equipment! But too bad for them, Gail is now on his own…and creating a buzz with the eerie yet beneficial curses he manipulates!
As of May 2025, there are 10 volumes of the manga available, with the 11th volume set to launch in Japan on June 6th JST.
