One-Punch Man Season 3 Reveals New Monster Visuals of Nyaan & Overgrown Pochi

Two additional monster visuals have been unveiled for the forthcoming third season of One-Punch Man, featuring the menacing character Nyaan and Overgrown Pochi. The third season is set to debut in Japan in October 2025.

Furthermore, a new visual was introduced for the upcoming One-Punch Man “Maji Music Festival” event in Japan on September 14, 2025. This event is part of the TV anime’s 10th anniversary festivities and will feature live dubbing from the voice actors and live renditions of the main theme songs from the series.

The production team for season three includes several returning members from the second season. These include Tomohiro Suzuki as screenwriter, Chikashi Kubota, Shinjiro Kuroda (Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy Season 2 Episode 4 and 5 prop design assistant), Ryosuke Shirakawa (Tsurune, Spy x Family Season 1, A Silent Voice key animator) as character designers, and Makoto Miyazaki as music composer. J.C.STAFF is responsible for the animation production after its previous involvement with the second season.

Meanwhile, the anime’s principal voice cast features Makoto Furukawa as Saitama, Daisuke Namikawa as Dr. Genus, and Hikaru Midorikawa as Garo.

The inaugural season was directed by Shingo Natsume and produced by Madhouse, debuting in 2015. A subsequent season followed in 2019, directed by Chikara Sakurai at J.C.STAFF. Crunchyroll streamed both series globally, outside of Japan.

The anime derives from the superhero action manga series crafted by ONE and illustrated by Yusuke Murata. It has been serialized on Shueisha’s Tonari no Young Jump since June 14, 2012, with 33 tankobon volumes published as of April 2025. The manga initially started as a self-published work released on the Japanese manga site Nitosha in 2009.

VIZ Media publishes the One-Punch Man manga series in English and summarizes the main storyline as follows:
