The series is set to debut in Japan on July 5, 2025.
Nobuyoshi Nagayama (Love Flops, Ayaka, Vampire Dormitory) is at the helm of the anime series, with Kazuya Ishiguri (Vampire Dormitory) serving as assistant director, Megumi Shimizu (Tomo-chan Is a Girl!) taking on the role of series screenwriter, Akiko Yokota (Girlfriend, Girlfriend) responsible for character design, and Sayaka Takemoto (Beyblade X sub-character designer) collaborating as sub-character designer. Animation production is being managed by Studio Blanc.
The anime’s voice cast includes:

The anime draws inspiration from the fantasy light novel series, authored by Riku Nanano and illustrated by cura. The initial publication occurred under Kadokawa’s Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint on December 20, 2018, with 19 volumes released as of April 2025. A 20th volume is scheduled for release in Japan on July 18, 2025.

The series started as a web novel on Kakuyomu on October 6, 2017, and it also led to a 2018 manga adaptation by Tamura Muto, which has released four tankobon volumes as of February 2024.
