© 岩船晶・戸部淑・イマジカインフォス／「ポーション、わが身を助ける」製作委員会 The official Twitter/ account of Animation ID announced the two main cast members who will be headlining the “light anime” adaptation of the Potion, Waga Mi o Tasukeru light novel series. The series is expected to premiere in Japan in October 2025.
The two main cast members include Kaede Hondo as protagonist Kaede and Takeo Otsuka as Asuru.

 is directing the light anime, with bermei.inazawa as music composer and Yuichi Imaizumi (Medalist) as sound director. Studio KAIBA is credited with the animation assistance, while Kazuya Takahashi is in charge of the production supervision. IMAGICA Infos and Imageworks Studio are handling the animation production. <br />
The original isekai fantasy light novel series is written by Akira Iwafune and illustrated by Sunaho Tobe. It was first published under Shufunotomo’s Hero Bunko imprint on April 27, 2015 and has released 10 volumes as of September 2024. It originally began as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro that was published from April 10, 2014 to September 21, 2024. <br />
