The Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast anime series has unveiled a brief trailer and key visual for its forthcoming second season, announcing that the debut will take place in October 2025. The trailer highlights key moments from the initial season.

Additionally, Crunchyroll has declared that it will be streaming the second season upon its release.

Kakuriyo: Bed & Breakfast for Spirits is a light novel series authored by Midori Yuma and illustrated by Laruha. It was published under Kadokawa’s Fujimi L Bunko imprint and ran from 2015 to 2022, encompassing 12 volumes. In addition to the anime adaptation, the series inspired a manga adaptation and a stage play. The first season of the anime aired from April 2018 to September 2018.

Viz Media has secured licensing and published the manga in English. Crunchyroll is streaming the first season of the anime and provides the following synopsis:

After losing her grandfather, Aoi—a girl who can see spirits known as ayakashi—is unexpectedly approached by an ogre. Demanding she repay her grandfather’s debts, he presents an outrageous request: her hand in marriage! Rejecting this ludicrous proposition, Aoi decides to take a job at the Tenjin-ya bed and breakfast for the ayakashi to repay her family’s debts.
