Prior to the campaign’s initiation, developer Monolith Board Games has shared a trailer that offers a broad overview of the co-operative game and showcases its miniatures.
As outlined on its Gamefound page, this tabletop version of the late Kentaro Miura’s dark fantasy manga centers on the Millennium Falcon Arc and accommodates 1 to 5 players. Characters are fueled by Action Cards, which can also be utilized to trigger special abilities and game effects; however, players must be cautious about the quantity they employ in a single turn due to fatigue (this will impact your stats, according to the trailer).
A typical game will last approximately 90 minutes and features a multi-round Adventure where Event cards reveal story segments and objectives, alongside “introducing its own series of twists and turns, both beneficial and detrimental.”
Berserk: The Board Game will include over 100 35mm-scale ABS and PVC miniatures, featuring characters like Guts, Serpico, Farnese, Isidro, Schierke, and their corresponding level-up versions. Other represented characters or entities in the game include Casca, Skull Knight, Zodd, Grunbeld, and Kundalini.
