A new trailer and visual have been unveiled for the soon-to-be-released second compilation film of Girls Band Cry. The second part, named Naa, Mirai., is set to screen on November 14, 2025, while the initial compilation film, Seishun Kyosоkyoku, is set to debut in Japanese theaters on October 3, 2025.
Moreover, in anticipation of the premiere of Girls Band Cry’s Seishun Kyosоkyoku, the anime series has partnered with ZOMBIE LAND SAGA for their upcoming new anime film ZOMBIE LAND SAGA: Yumeginga Paradise, which is scheduled to release on October 24, 2025. This collaboration includes a new visual and two special videos.
Kazuo Sakai reprises his role as director of the compilation films, with Jukki Hanada serving as screenwriter and scriptwriter. Nari Teshima takes on character design, while Jaehoon Jung and Daiki Nakazawa (The First Slam Dunk) collaborate as co-CG directors. Toei Animation will once again oversee the animation production.
The returning voice cast members from the TV anime series consist of:

Girls Band Cry is part of an expansive mixed-media project that encompasses animated music videos, singles, live performances, and merchandise. The girls in the first band, Togenashi Togeari, had no previous professional experience.
The Girls Band Cry TV anime series premiered in Japan in April 2024 and completed a 13-episode run. A new anime film project was announced last month.
The series has been streamed on France’s Animation Digital Network and South Korea’s Aniplus, later becoming accessible in Indonesia through the CATCHPLAY+ streaming service and in North America via various digital release platforms.

Feeling out of place in her rural surroundings, high school dropout Nina Iseri relocates to Tokyo. Following a difficult first day and being locked out of her apartment, she encounters her favorite guitarist, Momoka Kawaragi. The two decide to perform together on the street and form a band with three other girls. As each girl encounters her own challenges, their love for music fuels their dreams.
