The Kunon The Sorcerer Can See TV anime has revealed a teaser trailer. It has also been announced that it will debut in January 2026.

Kunon the Sorcerer Can See (Majutsushi Kunon wa Mieteiru) is adapted from the light novel series authored by Umikaze Minamino and illustrated by Laruha. Yen Press summarizes the story as follows:
Kunon Gurion was born blind and uncertain of his purpose, but everything shifts when he sets out to find a way to use magic to gain sight. This is a challenge no sorcerer has managed to accomplish or even attempted, and it will not come easily. Kunon’s unwavering ambition propels him to rapidly surpass his instructor, and with just a few elementary spells, he can already detect color, create useful objects, and conjure a lifelike cat from water! News of his talents and creativity quickly reaches the castle, offering him a rare opportunity to learn from a formidable new mentor. But is Kunon’s aspiration even within reach?
The light novel series commenced in 2022 and comprises seven volumes as of March 2025. It is released under the KADOKAWA Books label. A manga adaptation also exists.
