A TV anime adaptation of the Let’s Go Kaikigumi horror comedy manga has been revealed.
The story centers around the protagonist who gets involved with an organization addressing the paranormal after encountering their leader Mechako, even though they have a strong fear of such matters.
©ビュー・バーグハンバーグバーグ・小学館クリエイティブ／関東怪奇組Yutaka Hirata, who has directed episodes of PSYCHO PASS #16 and Golden Kamuy Season 3 #12, will be at the helm of the series at C-Station. Yoshimitsu Yamashita (HAKYU HOSHIN ENGI) is tasked with character design. The credits also include writer and YouTuber uketsu for song cooperation.
The cast features Tasuku Hatanaka as the protagonist, Ruriko Aoki as Mechako, and Shigeru Chiba as the narrator.

The manga originated from View and is published by Shogakukan Creative. There are currently five volumes available as of August 2024.
A “new series” connected to Let’s Go Kaikigumi was also announced and is set to start serialization soon on the comedy site Omocoro.
