The anime is set to debut in 2026.
Wash It All Away (Kirei ni Shitemoraemasuka.) draws inspiration from the manga by Mitsuru Hattori, which began its serialization in the seinen magazine Young Gangan in 2017 and released its 10th and final volume in August 2023. Square Enix outlines the story as follows:
For two years, Wakana Kinme has operated a laundry service in the seaside resort town of Atami. Kinme Cleaning is beloved in the community, and the residents appreciate Wakana’s commitment to her work. She enjoys a fulfilling life, making friends with locals and visiting hot springs. Although Wakana is unaware of her own history, her cleaning services help preserve the memories attached to customers’ cherished belongings.
