The Sakamoto Days live-action movie has unveiled a second “super teaser” video, showcasing not only young Sakamoto but also his partner Shin Asakura, who stylishly takes down their adversaries.
Asakura is portrayed by Fumiya Takahashi, known for his role as Ryuji “Yuka-chan” Ayukawa in the Blue Period live-action film. A visual featuring Shin has also been revealed.

Time has passed peacefully for Sakamoto since he exited the underworld. He runs a neighborhood store alongside his wonderful wife and child and has become somewhat… out of shape. However, one day, a figure from his past arrives with an offer he cannot refuse: return to the assassin world or face death!
The Sakamoto Days manga first appeared in 2020 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump and currently has 24 volumes as of October 2025.
