BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War (TYBW) Part 4 The Calamity premiered Episode 4 on August 9 with updates to its ending video. While most of the video remains unchanged, several frames now showcase Rukia Kuchiki. This follows the prior episodes, where Ichigo was swapped out for Kisuke Urahara in Episode 2 and Orihime Inoue in Episode 3.
This change once again emphasizes the episode’s focus, with today’s installment featuring Rukia prominently.

Created by Tite Kubo, BLEACH was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2016, culminating in 74 volumes. The manga has surpassed 130 million copies in circulation globally, earning its place as one of the best-selling manga series in history.
The original anime adaptation aired from 2004 to 2012 and included four theatrical films. The franchise made a comeback in 2022 with BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, which adapts the manga’s closing arc. Its final part (Part 4) is slated for release in July. Tite Kubo has confirmed that it will contain even more original content compared to previous parts, elaborating on the manga’s concluding battles. Hulu has recently confirmed that the anime’s final part will consist of 10 episodes.
On a related note, BLEACH: Mirrors High has recently unveiled its protagonists in a new trailer, featuring original character designs by Tite Kubo.
