AlphaPolis Launches North American Print Publishing Featuring Three Manga Series

The Japanese publisher AlphaPolis has officially entered the North American print market with the launch of English paperback editions of three of its well-known manga series for the first time. The initial lineup features Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time, A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai, and May I Ask for One Final Thing?, with releases planned throughout the summer and fall of 2026.

This launch marks AlphaPolis’ inaugural effort in producing its own print editions in North America. All three titles are currently available digitally through Kindle and the Alpha Manga app, while their anime adaptations can be accessed by international audiences via Crunchyroll. Collectively, these three series have nearly 6 million copies in circulation in Japan.

AlphaPolis has developed its catalog around a reader-driven publishing model. Creators have the opportunity to upload original novels and manga to the company’s platform, where successful works are chosen for commercial publication and can subsequently evolve into manga, light novels, and anime adaptations.

The three debut releases consist of:

  • Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time by Taro Sasakama and Kogitsunemaru, an isekai series that follows Takumi Iruma after he acquires an unexpectedly overpowered alchemy ability. The anime premiered in January 2025, with a second season in production.
  • A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai by Tomozo and Masuo Kinoko, which centers on Takeru Kamishiro after being reincarnated into a fantasy world with exceptional gathering abilities. Its anime adaptation aired in late 2025.
  • May I Ask for One Final Thing? by Sora Hoonoki and Nana Otori, a villainess fantasy that follows Scarlet, who responds to the annulment of her public engagement by seeking permission to retaliate. The anime adaptation launched in October 2025.
