The upcoming Blu-ray will feature both Japanese audio and an English dub, along with additional bonus content.
had previously launched a 720p version of the anime on Blu-ray earlier this June. This was the anime’s initial release in North America, featuring its first English dubbed version.The fantasy adventure anime special is adapted from the manga Prime Rose by Osamu Tezuka, which was first serialized in Akita Publishing’s Weekly Shonen Champion from July 1982 to June 1983.
A Time Slip of 10,000 Years: Prime Rose initially aired during a Japanese TV charity program called 24-Hour Television: Love Saves the Earth. The lead character, Prime Rose, also referred to as Emiya Tachi, later emerged as a prominent recurring figure in the Tezuka universe. She also made an appearance in the 2003 video game Astro Boy: Omega Factor.
