Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc Reveals New Poster Visual & Theme Song Music Video for Kenshi Yonezu’s “IRIS OUT”

A new poster visual has been revealed for the forthcoming Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc anime film, along with a music video for Kenshi Yonezu’s theme song titled “IRIS OUT.”

Moreover, Yonezu’s “IRIS OUT” single is now accessible on all major music streaming platforms.

The singer-songwriter also announced today that he will be hosting a Spotify listening party to commemorate the release of “IRIS OUT” and “JANE DOE” on September 22, 2025 at 9:00 AM EST, which coincides with the date when “JANE DOE” will be made available. The event will feature live audio commentary from Yonezu, and fans can join in during the live stream by posting messages on Twitter/X using the hashtag #Spotify_KenshiYonezu. Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will be shown in theaters in Japan, beginning on September 19, 2025, and in the U.S. on October 24, 2025. It will also be released in selected Asian countries from September 24, 2025, to September 26, 2025, and in parts of Europe, South America, and the Middle East on October 30, 2025. 4DX, MX4D, and Dolby Cinema screenings in Japan will commence on October 4, 2025.
Tatsuya Yoshihara (Chainsaw Man action director, Black Clover series director [later chief director], Wistoria: Wand and Sword) is directing the anime film, with Kazutaka Sugiyama as character designer, Hiroshi Seko as screenwriter, Aya Yamamoto as costume designer, Kensuke Ushio as music composer, and Kiyotaka Oshiyama and Riki Matsuura (Fire Force Season 2 co-main animator) as devil designers. MAPPA is responsible for the animation production.
The other staff consists of Yusuke Takeda as background art director, Naomi Nakano as color designer, Teppei Ito as composting director, Sota Yamazaki (co-chief animation director on Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, character designer and animation director on Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines’ second ED animation) and Shun (Chainsaw Man co-chief animation director) as sub-character designers, Shoichi (Chainsaw Man key animator and Ep 12 co-animation director) as main animator, Sota Shigetsugu (Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 key animator) as action animation director, Riku (Eve “Kororon” music video director, character designer, etc. [as Ligton] as color scripter, along with Daiki Watanabe (Chainsaw Man 3D setup and animation staff) and Masahiro Tamai (takt op.Destiny 3DCG modeling director) as 3DCG directors.
