Beast of Kamisari Month will primarily take place on the islands of Awaji and Onogoro. According to legend, Awaji is regarded as the first island of Japan.

In Child of Kamiari Month, the story followed a human protagonist named Kanna, who embarks on a journey to Izumo to reunite with her deceased mother. This narrative delved into the month of Kamiarizuki/Kannazuki, believed to be when deities from all over Japan gather at Izumo.
