Crunchyroll has made an announcement today regarding the hosting of the Crunchyroll Anime FanFest music festival for a duration of two days at San Diego Comic-Con 2025. The music festival is scheduled to occur from July 25-26, 2025 at The Rady Shell in Jacobs Park, situated behind the San Diego Convention Center.
Furthermore, the company has revealed that this year, the festival will be accessible to everyone at no cost, and an SDCC badge will not be necessary for entry. Please note that all details are subject to modifications, and attendance will be on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on capacity.
On the opening day of Crunchyroll Anime FanFest, July 25, the following artists will be performing:
- • SPYAIR — Japanese rock band known for the Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle theme
- • yama — J-Pop artist famous for the SPY×FAMILY ending theme
- • ASH DA HERO — Punk rock group recognized for “Judgement” associated with BLUE LOCK
- • Slushii — Anime-inspired DJ, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist
- • Magnolia Park — Gothic anime-themed alternative rock band
- • Hyper Potions — Electronic artist celebrated for anime-like soundscapes
- • VGR — EDM producer noted for video game and anime music remixes
- • James Landino — Composer and DJ known for the Tower of God original soundtrack
The second day’s lineup on July 26 will showcase the following artists:
- • Denzel Curry — Miami rapper merging underground hip-hop with anime influences
- • INIKO — Genre-defying songwriter and producer inspired by Shounen anime
- • Pink Pablo — Puerto Rican singer and music producer
- • ALI — The group behind “Lost in Paradise” from JUJUTSU KAISEN
- • Yaeji [DJ Set] — NYC-via-Seoul artist, music producer, vocalist, DJ, and lifelong anime enthusiast
- • ☆Taku Takahashi x Alenoise — DJ and producer of the Black Clover theme
- • NOODLES — DJ based in Los Angeles
Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore exclusive artist and anime merchandise pop-ups, participate in giveaways, and enjoy crosswalk activations, featuring immersive anime experiences for Gachiakuta, Kaiju No. 8, Rising of the Shield Hero, and more.
Doors will open at 1:00 PM PST on both Friday and Saturday. Crunchyroll team members and signage will be available at the entrance for assistance. Additionally, the company will unveil more of its plans at SDCC in the near future.
