The second season of the Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End TV anime will premiere on January 16, 2026 JST. It will be featured in Nippon TV’s Friday Anime Night block.

The reveal includes a key visual showing Frieren, Fern, and Stark traversing a tunnel adorned with what appear to be crystals. The landscape has elevated the trio into the air, with Stark depending on Fern for aerial support.

The sequel arrives just over two years following the two-cour first season, which was the inaugural anime to broadcast in the Friday Anime Night block, debuting on September 29, 2023 JST. The adaptation of the Shogakukan-published fantasy manga authored by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe narrates the journey of the ageless elf Frieren, once part of the team that vanquished the Demon King, as she explores with a new generation of allies.
