AMC Networks’ HIDIVE has announced today that the eagerly awaited third season of 【Oshi no Ko】 will be available for streaming on the anime service this January. Season 3 is set to premiere this January as part of HIDIVE’s Winter 2026 simulcast season and will be accessible to subscribers in the U.S. and Canada, as well as in major overseas markets like the U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Based on the award-winning seinen manga by Aka Akasaka, 【Oshi no Ko】 quickly gained popularity among fans and critics when it premiered in April 2023 on HIDIVE — receiving praise from entertainment sources such as ScreenRant, IGN, CBR, and ComicBook.com, while also soaring to “Number 1” in the fan-driven rankings on MyAnimeList.
S3 Synopsis: The narrative enters a new phase… Six months have elapsed since the debut of “POP IN 2.” Thanks to MEMcho’s efforts, B-Komachi is on the brink of a significant breakthrough. Aqua is making steady progress as a versatile artist, and Akane is on her path to becoming a skilled actress. Meanwhile, Kana has lost her previous cheerful disposition. Ruby is ascending the ranks of the entertainment world while seeking the truth behind the deaths of Ai and Gorou — wielding lies as her weapon.
【Oshi no Ko】 is adapted from the manga penned by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, which wrapped up with its final chapter in Shueisha’s Young Jump Comics on November 14, 2024. The anime series is helmed by Daisuke Hiramaki (Selection Project, Asteroid in Love) with series composition handled by Jin Tanaka (One Piece, Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club) and animation produced by studio Doga Kobo (Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian, Sing “Yesterday” for Me).
