The forthcoming anime series Petals of Reincarnation has just been announced for a 2026 premiere, and co-producer/platform partner HIDIVE has intensified the excitement among fans by releasing the official, first-ever English subtitled teaser trailer. The series will be streamed exclusively on the rapidly expanding streaming service from AMC Networks upon its launch in 2026.

Adapted from the popular supernatural action manga by Mikihisa Konishi, Petals of Reincarnation is currently under production, directed by Shun Kudo (Grendizer U, Gundam Build Divers) with animation provided by BENTEN Film. Alongside today’s revelation, AMC Networks’ HIDIVE has also unveiled the latest key visual for Petals of Reincarnation, which features the official logo designed for the streamer’s English-speaking audiences in both the U.S. and Canada, as well as major overseas markets such as the U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.

Synopsis: Constantly measured against his brilliant older brother, Toya Senji grapples with a significant inferiority complex regarding his perceived lack of ability. For Toya, his academic success serves as his last bastion. Yet, even while consistently placing in the top 100 in national practice exams, he feels unfulfilled. One day, Toya sees his classmate Haito Luo Buffet engage in combat with a serial killer. Following this, he learns about the mystical “Stem of Reincarnation” and discovers that Haito is what’s known as a “Returner.” Doubting, Toya finds out that through the power of the “Stem of Reincarnation,” one can return from self-inflicted death and subsequently acquire the skills of a previous life.
