©ヤマシタトモコ・祥伝社／アニメ「違国日記」製作委員会The TV anime adaptation of Ikoku Nikki: Journal with Witch has unveiled a trailer and a key visual, along with a release date in January 2026.
A few cast announcements were also revealed:

©ヤマシタトモコ・祥伝社／アニメ「違国日記」製作委員会Ikoku Nikki – Journal with Witch is adapted from the Shodensha-published manga by Tomoko Yamashita. It commenced publication in the joseimuke magazine Feel Young in 2017 and concluded with its 11th and final volume in 2023. The narrative follows a reserved novelist who takes in her 15-year-old orphaned niece.
The manga secured first place in the Book of the Year 2023 comic category of KADOKAWA’s Da Vinci magazine ranking. It also led to a live-action movie adaptation in 2024.
