©KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO/SINKA ANIMATION PROJECT ©KAMITSUBAKI STUDIO A new main trailer has been unveiled for the upcoming Kamitsubaki City Under Construction TV anime series, showcasing the show’s main opening theme “Utahime” by V.W.P (-Virtual Witch Phenomenon-). The series is set to begin airing in Japan on July 3, 2025.
Additionally, it was announced that Hikaru Midorikawa will voice a mysterious unnamed character in the series. His voice appears near the end of the new trailer.
A theatrical preview of the series Kamitsubaki-Shi Kensetsu-chu. Majo no Musume -Witchling- is screening in Japanese theaters for two weeks starting June 13, 2025, leading up to the anime’s premiere in July.
Kodai Kakimoto (BanG Dream! It’s MyGO!!!!! director, Narenare -Cheer for You!-) is taking on the role of director and series screenwriter for Kamitsubaki City Under Construction. Other staff members include PALOW (Eve’s “Mob” music video co-concept artist) as character designer and Soki Tsukishima (Ingress the Animation co-series screenwriter and scriptwriter) as setting designer, with oversight and original scenario contributions. SMDE is responsible for the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main cast features members of V.W.P, including:
