Yasuno will sing the new opening theme song titled “Algorithm.” Meanwhile, the idol group i☆Ris will perform the ending theme for the second cour, named “Yume no Hitokakera.”

The opening theme for the first cour was “Katto Tomorrow” performed by Lezel, while the ending theme was “Scream!” by Pmaru-sama.
Masahiro Takata (The Family Circumstances of the Irregular Witch, The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World) is directing the anime, with Hideki Shirane (The Duke of Death and His Maid, Date A Live Seasons 1 to 3) as the screenwriter, and Yusuke Isochi (Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It) along with Shingo Fujisaki (Skip and Loafer Episode 4 co-animation director, Undead Murder Farce Episodes 3, 4, and 13 co-animation director) serving as character designers. ZERO-G is in charge of the animation production.
Meanwhile, the main voice cast of the anime includes:

The first cour premiered early on select Japanese streaming platforms on September 29, 2024, and started its TV broadcast on October 1, 2024. Crunchyroll, Muse Asia, and bilibili streamed the series internationally, outside of Japan.
The original light novel series is authored by Tsukikage and illustrated by Chyko. It first appeared under Micro Magazine’s GC Novels label on August 30, 2018, and has released 12 volumes by September 2024, which includes a short story collection. A subsequent 13th volume is scheduled to be published in Japan on September 30, 2025. J-Novel Club is providing the English digital release of the light novel series, following the expiration of Sol Press’ license in 2021.
The series originated as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro on January 27, 2018, and also inspired a 2019 manga by Rai Hebino. Yen Press publishes the manga adaptation in English for North America.
