The special edition will hit the U.S. market with 20 new manga series. It will showcase a theme called “[UN-filtered MANGA]” which is set to include “sci-fi, dark horror, and cyberpunk narratives for adults that illustrate the raw, unfiltered realities of ordinary individuals in extraordinary settings.”

Moreover, a fan voting event will be featured inside the magazine, enabling readers to select their favorite titles from a selection of 16 eligible works. The winning manga will be serialized on Kodansha’s K MANGA app service. The voting will take place on the magazine’s <a href=)
official English website (launching on August 21, 2025) and official Twitter/X account from August 21, 2025, until November 10, 2025. Results will be revealed in real-time on the official site on December 15, 2025.The English edition of Young Magazine will feature over 1,044 pages of content, and will be distributed for free to attendees of Anime NYC. Additionally, there will be discussion events and autograph sessions with manga creators such as Minetaro Mochizuki (Dragon Head) and Kengo Hanazawa (UNDER NINJA) on August 24, 2025. The magazine will also be available at select Kinokuniya locations for a limited time. Mini autograph boards will be included with any purchase of works from Young Magazine between August 21, 2025, and November 10, 2025, while supplies last. There will also be exclusive in-store decorations at Kinokuniya’s New York City venue starting August 18, 2025, for a week, along with special exhibitions featuring reproduced artwork at all stores.
