Eiga Kimi to Idol Precure ♪Omatase! Kimi ni Todokeru Kirakki Live! will premiere on September 12 JST in Japan. The story revolves around hosting the universe’s top idol festival on AiAi Island, which is disrupted by the emergence of mysterious monsters. Characters from Wonderful Precure! and Soaring Sky! Precure will also make appearances.
The You and Idol TV series represents the latest addition to the Pretty Cure magical girl franchise, having debuted in February. The TV anime’s premise is described by Crunchyroll as:
Middle school student Uta Sakura loves to sing any chance she gets. But music becomes more than a hobby when she meets Purirun, a fairy whose hometown has plunged into darkness. The Chokkiri Gang took over her land and began stealing her people’s sparkle.
