Two additional cast members and a unique “moon viewing” visual have been introduced for the forthcoming Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods TV anime series. The anime is set to premiere in Japan in 2026.
The slice-of-life fantasy light novel series is authored by Enju and illustrated by ox, first published by ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki no Shinbungei imprint on November 17, 2021, with 10 volumes available as of July 2025. The 11th volume is expected to be released in Japan on November 17, 2025. The series is published in Japan under the title Kami no Niwatsuki Kusunoki-tei.
The narrative began as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel in April 2021, and a manga adaptation by Akira Anzai was launched in November 2021.
